As Adjunct Professor at Taylor`s University, Jakub leads topics of innovation management, digital transformation, IoT, and AI in the built environment, focusing on integrating global industry knowledge and overseeing cutting-edge research projects.
At Bentley Systems Jakub was responsible for Digital Ventures, Ecosystems and Strategic Partnerships, providing commercial and strategic leadership to globally establish new business ventures that drive corporate growth through product expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances. His team aimed at developing a partner ecosystem to complement Bentley`s product portfolio, services, and channels, including the definition of product and service synergies with Siemens, Atos, Topcon, Microsoft, Nvidia, and other strategic partners, such as engineering firms, integrators and contractors. He combines corporate innovation, AECO market intelligence, and foresight to create data-driven transformative venture portfolios. He also led the global customer success & service offerings/products and strategy practice with the mission to create and deploy world-leading service offerings to Bentley Systems` global users who create the cities of tomorrow.
As an architect and engineer by background, Jakub designed and built some of the world's most prestigious buildings and structures; now, he architects customer-obsessed and differentiated solution offerings that maximize recurring revenues and customer outcomes. He is a regular speaker at leading industry conferences and a guest lecturer at universities worldwide. He holds a Global Executive MBA from Imperial College London Business School and has completed executive education in various strategic and management disciplines from prestigious institutions. He is also the Chair of Executives Global Network – Digital Transformation Executives Group in Singapore.
